Dr.
Alicia Campi, President of the USMAG was awarded a Friendship
Medal by the Government of Mongolia, in recognition for her
contribution to strengthening U.S- Mongolian relations. |
Medal Of Friendship
was established on April 20, 1967. Estimated number of 10,000
mongolians and foreigners were awarded the medal for strengthening
friendship and cooperation between peoples. Most awardees
were russian builders, artists and lately representatives
of international organizations and embassies posted to Mongolia.

The Friendship Medal was presented
by the President N. Bagabandi at the Award Ceremony at Mongolian
Embassy in Washington, D.C on July 16, 2004 in presence
of Ambassador R. Bold and a large number of Mongolian officials.
